Senior Database Lead

Job Description:

• Strong on Advanced SQL queries and troubleshooting.
• Optimize database systems for performance efficiency.
• Perform space management and capacity planning for database systems.
• Identify any issues related to query performance and provide corrective measures.
• Create complex functions, scripts, stored procedures , views and triggers to support application development.
• Troubleshoot and resolve the DB related issues (queries, functions, views, procedures, joins etc..)
• Work with application team and train them on Advanced SQL query skills.
• Participate in database design and architecture to support application development projects.
• Design, develop and implement database systems based on project/product/application requirements.
• Develop database Schema, tables and dictionaries as needed.
• Perform data back-up and archival on regular basis.
• Test databases and perform bug fixes.
• Troubleshoot database related issues in a timely fashion.
• Develop security procedures to protect databases from unauthorized usage.
• Evaluate existing database and recommend improvements for performance efficiency.
• Develop best practices for database design and development activities.
• Quality assurance through code reviews, setting coding standards and driving continual improvement activities.
• Provide oversight and architectural guidance to a team.
• Leadership and Mentoring – department and peers.

Skill Set:

• Demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills take initiative to drive projects to successful conclusion
• Experience of working in an agile project execution methodology.
• Experience using bulk loading methods on MS-SQL , Oracle databases
• Exposure to other Databases as as SQL Server, MySQL, DB2 etc..
• Experience in DB related to IAM Systems in general and SailPoint in particular.
