Job Description:

• Develop detailed test plans and test cases based on software requirements, user stories, and technical specifications.
• Perform functional, integration, system, and regression testing of software applications to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Write and execute automated test scripts using appropriate testing tools to improve efficiency and coverage.
• Identify, document, and prioritize bugs and defects in defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira) and work with developers to resolve issues.
• Work closely with developers, Client, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements.
• Understand the end to end product integrations.
• Execute test cases and document results, ensuring that all functional, non-functional, and security requirements are tested.
• Ensure that new features or bug fixes do not negatively impact existing functionality through rigorous regression testing.
• Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure that user requirements and business needs are met.
• Suggest and implement improvements to testing processes, methodologies, and tools to increase efficiency.
• Maintain clear documentation of test cases, test results, and bug reports, ensuring they are up to date and accessible.
• Ensure all necessary tools and systems are in place for testing purposes.
• Conduct performance, load, and stress testing when necessary to ensure software can handle expected usage levels.
• Good Communications Skills.
• Ensure all testing activities adhere to quality standards and company policies.
• Mentoring – department and peers.
• Demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills take initiative to drive projects to successful conclusion.
• Experience of working in an agile project execution methodology.
• Basic proficiency in IAM or Sailpoint is essential.

Primary Skills:

• Create and execute test plans, and collaborate with development teams to ensure the final product is functional, and free of issues.
• Should have expertise in manual testing, proficiency in automated testing using tools like Selenium, experience with bug tracking tools such as Jira, strong skills in regression testing to ensure new features do not break existing functionality, ability to design and execute test cases for different scenarios, knowledge of SQL and database to validate backend data, understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and a keen attention to detail to identify edge cases and defects, and strong communication skills for collaborating with stakeholders and writing concise reports, and strong soft skills such as problem-solving, critical thinking, and teamwork.

Secondary Skills:

• Knowledge of API testing using tools such as Postman or SoapUI
• Basic understanding of version control systems like GIT
• Experience working in Agile methodologies
• Understanding of security testing practices

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s / Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
